Concord Carlisle Baseball & Softball Summer Programs

Concord Carlisle Youth Baseball offers summer baseball opportunities based upon age. All recreational leagues provide players the opportunity to continue playing organized baseball throughout the summer while emphasizing fun and player development.
The recreational baseball season runs from July 5 to Aug 13.
Information regarding the recreational softball season will be announced at a later date.
Sandlot baseball: Players entering 1st or 2nd grade

Organized pickup games once a week

Coach pitch games

1st graders play on Tuesday nights at 6 pm

2nd graders play on Wednesday nights at 6 pm

The fee for this league is $25. A Sandlot tee shirt will be provided to all participants.
Third (3rd) grade baseball league:
Players entering 3rd grade

In-town program on Monday and Thursday nights beginning at 6 pm

This league continues the introduction of kid pitch games.

One night of games and one night of skills

The fee for this league is $65. Uniform hat and shirts are included. Players must provide their own baseball pants.
Middlesex Travel baseball League
-
2 games per in the Middlesex Travel League with home and away games to Lexington, Bedford, Belmont, Arlington and Winchester

While the level of play is competitive, all players receive an equal amount of playing time

The league runs from July 5th - August 13th, with no weekend games or practices

The 9/10 year olds (4th/5th graders) will play on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 5:45
-
The 11/12 year olds (6th/some 7th graders) will play on Monday and Wednesday nights at 5:45
-
While we do not expect many Friday night games on the schedule, there may be an occasional Friday night game

The fee for this league is $100. Uniform hat, shirt, belt and socks are included in the fee. Players must provide their own baseball pants (white).

Regarding Summer Select Teams (Baystate Teams)
CCYB fields teams at the 10, 11 and 12 year old age levels in the Baystate baseball league (www.baystatebaseball.com).
Teams are selected based on the following:
Overall Spring season performance as observed by coaches.
Season evaluation submitted by the coaches
Observations at the all-star game practice and the game itself
Invitational try outs based on the above
CCYB attempts to field a competitive team for this league, however, there are many factors which must be considered including the commitment by the family and player to play a minimum 2 – 3 games a week from early July through earlyAugust.
