Summer Softball Scrimmage/Clinic Subscription

Hi Softball Families! (All Grades K-12)!


First I want to thank everyone who participated in the Early Summer Clinic Series!  I heard great things from the participating families so I'm pleased we were able to offer this program!


Moving on to the rest of the summer we expanding the program to move on to a Practice/Clinic/Scrimmage Schedule.  This program will Start on Tuesday 7/15 go 5 weeks into august.

We will have rotating coaches drawing from Past and Present CCHS Players, Raiders Coaches, School Staff and Long Time Softball Parents in town.  The program will continue our focus on skills development but add in game play in a fun informal setting.   We may even arrange a few opportunities to scrimmage other towns!


We have secured use of the High School Turf field and Lights for this program and will continue to use the CCHS Softball Diamonds.


The program consists of the following weekly activities.  Kids will be broken down into groups based on age and number of players. (Ages are grade based on 2019-2020 School Year)







6:30 PM - 7:30 PM


CCHS Varsity Softball - Skill Stations/Scrimmage


7:15 PM - 9:00 PM


CCHS Memorial Field (Under the lights!) - Skill Stations/Scrimmage/Pick Up games


6:30 PM - 8:00 PM


(Parents Invited too!)               


Open Turf Under the Lights - Parents Kids can come and work together on all skills.


6:00 PM - 8:00 PM


Pickup Game on The Turf!


6:00 PM - 8:00 PM


Pickup Game(s) on The Grass!


The cost for this program will be a one-time subscription cost of $75 for all or any of the 5 weeks.  This is to cover insurance and equipment costs.

As we navigate through the current state of things in the country, please Keep a few things in mind as we are now operating under Phase III opening guidelines for COVID Safety:

  • Masks and Social Distancing are Mandatory! 
  • We have a Maximum of 100 people (Players, Coaches, and Parents) per field, so RSVPing is Critical!
  • You need to fill out a mandatory Exposure form weekly (Parents if you are participating then you need to fill one out for yourself as well!)

Community Service for CCHS

Complete your CCHS Community Service Hours!

CCYB/S is looking for volunteers to help with upcoming Youth Baseball activities.

Open to baseball & softball players who will be CCHS students for the 2020-2021 school year.

Rising Freshmen are eligible!

Bay State Baseball Tryout -- Monday, July 6
5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Ripley Field
Volunteers will hit ground balls or fungoes, catch throws, or soft-toss to players in the batting cage
Volunteers will *not* be responsible for evaluating any of the players
Player age group is 9 to 11 years old
Summer Clinics, Friday Mornings at CCHS --  July 10 to August 7 (5 weeks)
    9:00 AM - 10:00 AM:  1st / 2nd grade players
  10:15 AM - 11:15 AM:  3rd / 4th grade players
  11:30 AM - 12:30 PM:  5th / 6th grade players
Volunteers will be assisting professional baseball coaches Ramcy Lora and Brendan Fitzgerald
Volunteers are not required to attend all sessions
Summer Town Baseball, Majors Division -- July 8 to August 10 (10 sessions)
Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM at Rideout 1
These sessions will have 5th & 6th graders playing instructional games
Volunteers will be responsible for running the games
Volunteers must commit to at least 7 sessions

Concord-Carlisle Youth Baseball - 2020 Summer Programs

The Summer Jimmy Fund League is not being run this year.

Instead, we are offering In-Town Baseball programs for Pre-K to 6th grade players.

** Registration Deadline is Tuesday, June 30 **

Open to Boys and Girls.  Note:  Grades indicated are for the 2019 - 2020 school year

T-Ball (Pre-K & K)   $100 per player

* Introductory level of play focused on teaching foundational skills in a fun, active environment where all players hit off a tee. Players must be entering Kindergarten or 1st grade in the fall.

Farm League (Grades 1 & 2)  $125 per player

* Fundamental level of play using combination of coach pitch and machine pitch to promote success and develop foundational skills.

Minor League (Grades 3 & 4)  $150 per player

* Transitional level of play focused on striking a balance between instruction and competition using exclusively player pitch.

Major League (Grades 5 & 6)  $150 per player

* Competitive level of play using exclusively player pitch to foster a love of the game and prepare athletes for future success.

Season Dates: Mondy, July 6 to Friday, August 7 (5 Weeks)

Weekly Schedule:  All sessions at Rideout or CCHS

6:30pm – 8:00pm (Majors) *
