Fall is approaching and we want to keep the momentum of Softball "Full Swing" into the fall! This year CCYBS will be participating in the Billerica Bratz Fall Fastpitch League. This league attracts teams from all around and will have over 70 teams in it this year! The league is open to individual, full or partial team submissions for 10U, 12U, and 14U players.
Age groups are determined based on a players age as of 1/1/2019
U10: 9 or 10
U12: 11 or 12
U14: 13 or 14
CCYBS is in the process of forming full or partial teams for each age group. We will make every attempt to keep Concord/Carlisle girls together.
The registration fee for this league will be $100. Jersey, Pants, Belts and socks will be extra. However, players will be able to use Pant/Socks/Belts from either the Spring or Summer season if they have them.
Games will be once a week, on Saturdays. Starting Mid September, ending at the end of October. Each team will play one back-to-back double header each weekend. The Administrators of this league like to keep the comittment simple and flexible as they realize that girls play a lot of other fall sports, within this format they'll be open to scheduling games around a teams other activities as much as possible.
· Games will be played in Billerica sometime between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM on Saturdays (some games under the lights)
· Each team will play 2 games a week, (normally back-to-back in a double header format.)
· The league will be 6 weeks starting Mid Septemer.
Late Registrations may not be able to be placed on a full CCYBS team. The earlier you register, the better chance you have to get on the full CCYBS teams. For teams that do not have enough players, we will merge with other towns to get enough players. If we recieve enough for multiple teams, we will do so.
The goal of the Fall Instructional Program is to provide a fun clinic environment where players can hone their skills and prepare themselves for the upcoming spring season. Emphasis is placed on the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, throwing, and base running.
Grades 1 and 2 (3:30-4:30 PM) : This session will focus on skill building and fundamentals in all phases of the game followed by controlled scrimmages. Cost will be $75 for four weeks.

We have scheduled evaluations for the 2020 CCYB Rebels team for Sunday, August 25 at 4:00 at Rideout Playground.
Our plan for spring, 2020 is to field teams at the 9U (3rd grade), 10U (4th grade), 11U (5th grade) and 12U (6th grade) levels. This would represent the most number of teams Rebels has fielded, and we hope to involve as many Concord and Carlisle families as possible.
For those not familiar with Rebels, it was founded in 2016 and serves as a Concord-Carlisle club baseball program run in conjunction with Route 2 Athletics of Arlington. The program is coached by former CCHS Head Coach Chris Aufiero.
The goals of the program are:
1. Community: A club-level baseball experience with classmates and peers
2. Coaching: Professional coaches who prioritize skill development and love of baseball over "win at all costs"
3. Competition: Play elite programs from surrounding towns including teams in the New England Elite Baseball League
4. Convenience: First-class program at a reasonable cost with limited travel to practices and games
5. CCHS: Build a strong feeder program to develop an elite high school baseball program
